ADB President Offers Support for Viet Nam's COVID-19 Response

“The Asian Development Bank stands ready to provide financial assistance and policy advice to help the Government of Viet Nam contain the spread of COVID-19,” said ADB President Masatsugu Asakawa. “We will consider all options, including quick-disbursing budget support, policy-based lending, and expedited disbursement of existing loans, to ensure any support package can be approved quickly and disbursed in a timely manner.”

Projects Cofinanced, 2014-2018

Cofinancing operations enable ADB’s financing partners, governments or their agencies, multilateral financing institutions, and commercial organizations to participate in financing ADB projects. Additional funds are provided in the form of official loans and grants, technical assistance, other concessional financing, and commercial cofinancing such as B loans, risk transfer arrangements, parallel loans and equity, guarantee cofinancing, and cofinancing for transactions under ADB’s Trade Finance Program.
